Phase I Index Up 6 Points in 1Q

The Phase I ESA Index fell from 81.3 in
September to 62.7 in December and then back up to 69.2 in March, according to the
EDR ScoreKeeper™ State of the Market Report, 1Q09. The slight uptick in 1Q09 reflects distressed assets coming into play and strong demand for foreclosure work, both of which are partly compensating for the lack of new transactions as the credit crunch continues.
