Rob Barber
Chief Executive Officer

Rob Barber is a board member and chief executive officer of Environmental Data Resources, the nation’s leading provider of environmental risk information products and property assessment workflow solutions. As CEO, Rob oversees EDR’s vision and strategy and is ultimately responsible for the company’s performance.

Since he began his EDR career in 1992, Rob has moved progressively through a variety of cross functional roles which has given him a broad range of experience across EDR’s customer segments. Prior to becoming CEO in 2005, Rob served as the president and chief operating officer. Rob has also held multiple positions within the company's national sales organization including executive vice president of sales and marketing.  In the mid 1990s Rob opened EDR’s first regional offices in New England, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.

Throughout his career, Rob has spearheaded numerous innovative initiatives that have powered the company’s growth including the development of  proprietary property content and web-based workflow applications and the introduction of environmental risk screening in the residential real estate  and homeownership market. In 2008, he led the team that created Commonground, the award-winning global social network for professionals involved in property due diligence and risk assessment.  He has also successfully completed and integrated multiple acquisitions which have broadened the company’s product portfolio and customer base.

A graduate of Fairfield University, Rob is a member of the board of directors of the Software and Information Industry Association's Content Division and serves as a director of BuildFax, the nation's leading provider of property-specific building permit and contractor information.  He is also the Chairman and President of The Sanborn Library which is the owner of all rights, titles and interests in the Sanborn Map imagery collection in various media forms including digital.

Jon Walker
Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Jon leads EDR's Sales and Marketing team, which is dedicated to supporting our client’s growth.

Jon’s EDR career spans two decades. After joining the company in 1992 as an Account Executive, he held multiple positions within the national sales organization. Jon has served as managing director of EDR’s corporate, legal and government services group, and regional vice president of lender services.

He is a member of the ASTM’s E50 Environmental Assessment Committee. Jon is also co-chair of its E1528 ASTM Task Group, which developed and published “E1528-06 Standard Practice for Limited Environmental Due Diligence: Transaction Screen Process.”

In addition to leading a talented and fun team, Jon spends as much time as he can with family, and on the golf course, basketball court and softball field with friends. He is also a very proud father.

Jon graduated from Skidmore College, where he majored in business and economics. He lives in Fairfield, Connecticut, with his wife and daughter.

Joe Burstiner
Managing Director, Consulting and Engineering

Joe is responsible for leading the vision and strategy for EDR’s Consulting and Engineering customers.  This includes managing all of EDR’s C&E products, services and workflow solutions to ensure the highest possible quality, unique content and user-friendly design.  Joe and his team are also charged with innovating and launching new product and service offerings driven by a front-end customer strategy approach.

Joe has been at EDR for over 17 years holding various positions including regional vice president of the Sanborn Map Company and associate vice president of EDR’s Data & Content group.  Joe has spent most of his career as part of EDR’s national sales organization as director of field sales and as a national account manager including founding EDR’s national account program. 

Joe is passionate about spending time with family, vacationing, sports and is edging closer and closer to attending a game at every NHL arena with only two more to go.

Joe graduated from Fairfield University with a marketing major and resides in Glen Rock, NJ with his wife, daughter and two sons.

Guy TassinariGuy Tassinari
Managing Director, Lender Market

As Managing Director of the Lender Market, Guy Tassinari is responsible for developing and executing the market strategy and product management direction of all EDR’s products and services geared towards creating value for our lender customers. 

Prior to joining EDR in 2007, Guy was the President & CEO of iTAG-PARCEL, LLC, the company that developed the PARCEL Platform.  Since the acquisition by EDR in 2007, Guy has been working as Vice President, Product Management, where he was focused on the strategy and product direction of PARCEL and other various products that served both the Consulting & Engineering and Lender Markets.

Guy graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor of science degree in Chemical Engineering.  He likes to have fun, play sports, games and enjoy the occasional beer.  He lives in North Reading, Massachusetts with his wife and two daughters. 

Jack Huntress
Managing Director, Residential

As Managing Director of the Residential Market, Jack Huntress is charged with bringing environmental information into single family residential property transactions.  This role includes working with environmental consultants, lenders, GSEs, attorneys, residential brokers/agents, home inspectors and homebuyers to introduce solutions that work for the residential market.  Presently, the market is not served with any consistent environmental due diligence.

Prior to this role, Jack worked in a business development capacity exploring the residential market, working on strategic partnerships and developing a five year data strategy for the company.

From 2008-2010, Jack developed the first three courses (ESA, PCA and ASTM ESA) on commonground University as part of a collaborative effort with dozens of industry professionals as well as ASTM course instructors.

From 2001-2007, Jack developed and marketed the PARCEL Platform for due diligence reporting.  In 2007, EDR acquired PARCEL and Jack assumed a role in charge of Strategic Innovation and later, Business Development.

Before working on PARCEL, Jack was an environmental consultant for Jacques Whitford (now Stantec) and Arthur D. Little where he worked on various sized site investigations and portfolio due diligence. 

Jack has served on the Governance Committee for Commercial MISMO data standards and is active with a variety of Mortgage Banking committees.

Jack graduated with BS and MS degrees in geology and geophysics.

Jack lives in Carlisle, MA with his wife Heather and their two sons, Gavin and Wesley.  In his free time, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family.

Oreste Petillo
Chief Financial Officer

In his role as chief financial officer, Oreste A. Petillo manages the timely reporting of EDR’s financial results. Responsible for accounting, financial analysis, treasury, tax, investor relations, and audit, he also helps with strategic planning, corporate compliance, and contract management.

Oreste joined EDR in 1996 as controller, and was promoted to vice president of finance in 2000. Prior to joining EDR, he spent five years in public accounting serving a variety of clients.

Oreste graduated from the University of Connecticut. He has been a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1994.

Beth Skrzyniarz, SPHR
Executive Vice President, Human Resources

Beth Skrzyniarz is the executive vice president of human resources for EDR, responsible for building and applying best practices in human resources that allow EDR to recruit, develop and retain the top talent in the industry.

Prior to joining EDR in 2005, Beth held multiple positions in human resources in various industries. In 2000, she joined a start-up firm in Manhattan, where she was responsible for developing the company’s human resources department from scratch. Beth’s experience at that company led to further opportunities with startups; she worked at two different national companies specializing in home services before joining EDR.

Passionate about giving back to the community, Beth has spearheaded EDR’s participation in numerous charitable ventures associated with the American Cancer Society and Zandra’s kids. Throughout the year, employees support Daffodil Days, Camp Rising Sun, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, along with an annual toy drive in December.

A graduate of Suffolk University, Beth is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management since 1996.

Gerry TsuiGerry Tsui
Vice President of Information Technology

Gerry Tsui, Vice President of Information Technology, oversees all facets of product innovation, development, and information technology. He drives his team to take all of EDR’s products from conception to delivery.

Gerry joined EDR in late 1994. His prior geospatial experiences were instrumental to the early successes of EDR flagship product, the EDR Radius Map Report. Gerry began his career at the Department of City Planning of New York City, followed by the New State Legislature office in demographic research and reapportionment, where he gained over eight years of professional IT and GIS experiences.

Gerry holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from Brooklyn College and received his MBA, with Beta Gamma Sigma honors, from University of Connecticut, where he earned the 1999 GE Capital Global scholar award.

Gerry is a member of FBI InfraGard program, and can read and write Chinese, and speak conversational Cantonese and Mandarin. Gerry resides in Weston, Connecticut with his wife and two sons.

Dan Onofrio
Executive Vice President, Operations

As EVP of operations, Dan Onofrio ensures that EDR’s Data and Fulfillment departments run smoothly. Responsible for data acquisition, transformation and storage, Dan is also tasked with continually improving EDR’s data processes. On the order fulfillment side, Dan ensures that EDR’s products are produced in a manner that exceeds customer expectations across all vertical markets.

Dan’s career with EDR began in 1992, when he joined the company’s production department. Quickly progressing through a series of roles with increasing responsibility in Production and later EDR’s Data department, Dan was promoted to his current role in August 2011.

In his spare time, Dan serves as chair of the Young Professionals Board, Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce, a group established to help young professionals and entrepreneurs expand their careers, engage in community life and cultivate the next generation of leaders. Dan’s professional and personal engagement and commitment to his local community have earned him a 2009 Fairfield County’s 40 Under 40 award.

Dan graduated from the University of New Haven.
